Four Sonnes of Aymon is a medieval chivalric romance written by William Caxton in 1489. The story is set in the time of Charlemagne and follows the adventures of four brothers, Renaud, Alard, Richardet, and Guichard, who are forced to flee after their father is murdered by Charlemagne's nephew. The brothers become outlaws and are pursued by Charlemagne's army. Along the way, they encounter various challenges and battles, including a confrontation with a giant and a dragon. The story is full of themes of loyalty, brotherhood, and honor, as well as elements of magic and supernatural powers.
