Dane Ledger is entering the final year of his primary school career. He is smart, athletic, charismatic and is well liked. He has also thrown his hat in the ring to be a school leader and is confident that he can make a difference. Quickly he realizes that what he thinks is important may not be the case, and he must choose between making a real difference or doing what he loves and helping the school be successful. Other students, including those who would be considered as better leaders, hinder him at all turns. Does he continue to do what is right but is hard for him, or does he take an easy road which helps no-one but himself. This is a journey of discovery for young adults as they realise that there are things that they never took notice of before that matter more than anything else in their life. Confidence, Understanding, Leadership and Friendship run strong throughout this book.
