A native of Elbert County, Georgia, Dan Scarborough grew up amid the love and laughter of a large, hard-working family who lives in the rural south. Being a naturally curious history lover, he accumulated a vast array of memorabilia and recorded years of memories. The influence of a storytelling grandfather and the wisdom of a loving grandmother led him to author these stories that will take you to a place where families are strong, children are safe, loved, and free to explore. Dan's stories shine with humanity, humor, and hope and will appeal to everyday Americans no matter where they live. His easygoing and entertaining writing style invites you to accompany his explorations and rediscover familiar joys hiding out in your own memories.
