Disillusioned with dating, Rachel answers an ad for a wife on an Instagram post. She knows the odds of being chosen are slim, but she likes the man on the video, and when he video-called her, she was intrigued. Her troubles begin before she reaches the town of her prospective husband and continue unabated for the full four weeks she had planned to stay at Valley View, Not one to let life get her down, Rachel immerses herself in the community, helping businesses boost profits and bringing events to town tailored to draw tourists. As the community embraces Rachel, her prospective husband ignores her, preferring to spend time with blonde women. Rachel returns home, gives her notice to her employer and prepares to move to the larger town of Macquarie, where she intends to begin a new business. Close enough to Valley View to spend part of the week there, Rachel tries to avoid Linc and his newest blonde girlfriend. When unanticipated events occur, and Rachel is put in danger, can Linc convince her that he is her Mr Right, or has he lost that opportunity?
