One of the strongest assurances in the Scriptures is in 1 John 5:4 (ESV), which says, "For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith." Despite this promise, why do believers still struggle in life? Why do the saints of God still suffer satan's oppression? Why are dark forces having a field day in some of our churches, and we are silent? Why do the saints of God manifest the wickedness of satan instead of God's glory? People who should be overcomers are suffering defeat. The answer is simple: we don't know how, so we perish because of a lack of knowledge, like others.
Apostle L'Tanya C. Perry, MDiv. understands that life is a battlefield and the war is unending. So, she has compiled this 30-day devotional to accompany the book to equip you against the arrows of satan flying around in search of prey. Each day contains insights from God's Word to build your spiritual arsenal against the ongoing battle around your life. Her desire is that at the end of these 30 days, you will have recovered your lost glory as an overcomer. Take out time each day and take steps towards your desired victory.
