Lori was deeply moved by Jeff Letendre's videos about giving animals a second chance at life because Lori's parents were Holocaust survivors who also were given a second chance at life. Together, Lori and Jeff tell this magical story about Fairy the Friendly Fawn and her own second chance after being orphaned in the woods of Canada. Not only will you fall in love with Fairy and her Prince Jeff, but you will come away with a new respect for wild animals, and learn about kindness, compassion, and altruism. There is so much to learn from this loving story. This book is appropriate for adults and youth; it includes an educational section for children. A portion of all sales of this book will go directly to help Jeff and/or the Wild Hearts Animal Sanctuary so he can continue his important work with the animals.
