The reader will be enchanted and fascinated by this phantasmagorical and vivid tale of a bunch of animals, free spirits known as the Dunes Rangers. The vivid and dynamic seascapes, forests and underground tunnels, provide the setting for a surreal quest in this amazing critter novel! This is a carnival of animals that presents an array of believable and loveable critters, including dogs, cats, jackdaws, a beaver, a leopard, a black panther, a horse, and a sprinkling of humans, drawn together in a quest for missing friends in a battle against the elements and shady humans. When the quest leads them into the supernatural realm, the humour and the author's fertile imagination will hold the reader spellbound! --Charles Muller, Diadem Books
