A unique look into Cuban communism through the eyes of a western celebrity, this biography follows the dashing Australian-born Hollywood star Errol Flynn to Cuba in 1959. While the country is on the brink of a Castro-led revolution, Flynn is there making what would be his final film. What ensues is a meeting with Fidel Castro and a personal duel between the men, utilizing words and women as ammunition. As Flynn indulges in his latest underage tryst, Fidel marches triumphantly into Havana after overthrowing the Batista government. Within days of the coup, Flynn is chased out of Cuba with the firing squad and Fidel hot on his heels. Featuring a cast of Hollywood movie stars, beautiful women, Cuban revolutionaries, and New York mobsters, this narrative is the story of two men at the opposite ends of astonishing careers.
