*Product information may vary - to confirm product availability, pricing, shipping and return information please contact Coles
This heartwarming story aims to introduce young readers to the concepts of autism and sign language with the intention of developing more awareness among people in general. Tommy is a loving kid who wants to share with everyone how he interacts with his autistic, nonverbal brother, Elliot. At the same time, he is happy to show how their family uses American Sign Language (ASL). While you turn the pages of this wonderfully illustrated book, you will find images of Tommy signing colours in ASL. He calls them "Elliot's beautiful colours" because he notices them everywhere while spending time with his little brother. When challenges arise, the family handles them with affection and empathy, always highlighting Elliot's talents and attributes.
