*Product information may vary - to confirm product availability, pricing, shipping and return information please contact Coles
Well, this particular title ‘Earthly Echoes’ is a collection of thought-provoking poems and dialogues by Author Nivedita Roy and happens to be the '4th Book' by the author. In this collection, all poems are unique, in that she has created metaphoric dialogues between unlikely creatures, like a dog and a tree, trout and blue whale, fat mouse with elephant, and more, to highlight the shortcomings of human nature and our social structure. There is a huge concern for the environment and she even begins her first poem as a frenzied letter “To Dear Mother Nature”. Her poems span genres and forms!
This book is published under the auspicious banner of Puffins Publishers Private Limited and this is Author Nivedita Roy's second collaboration with the team of Puffins Publishers India. The poems and dialogues in this collection are dedicated to ‘Mother Nature’ and the author is genetically tuned to admire, love, and feel one with Nature for which her mother deserves the credit. In addition, the poetry and dialogues in this collection ‘Earthly Echoes’ is an honest attempt by the author to raise awareness towards conservation of Nature, and sparing a thought towards all living and nonliving things in our environment. It’s a nano effort towards making humans rise above their apathy towards environment.
