Dylan and the Days That Feel Different is a gentle, comforting chil moments, like the first day of school. As Dylan begins his school day, everything feels a little different. His body feels uneasy, his thoughts feel busy, and his feelings feel heavy and confusing. Through Dylan's experience, children learn that it is okay to have days that feel harder than others, and that their feelings do not need to be rushed, fixed, or hidden. This story helps children recognize emotions such as nervousness, worry, and overwhelm, while reassuring them that they are not alone. Dylan and the Days That Feel Different reminds children, and the adults who love them, that some days feel different-and that is okay.
