This is an Autobiography of my life starting with my growing up years in the Bronx. Learn about the details of my career that led to my involvement with the start of many of the USA's leading Discount Stores such as Walmart, Kmart, Target, Woolco, Arlan's, Zayres, Zodys, Jefferson Stores, Ames, Caldor, Mammouth Mart, Jamesway, Bradlees, Ayrway, Ann & Hope, Hills, White Front, and many others over 22 years! Read about how these famous stores rapidly expanded their operatons in the highly competitve retail field from the 1960's thru the 1990's. Learn how I awakened their interest in the hard line categories within discounting and exposed them to the foreign markets of Europe and Asia. Many were previously successful retail chains, known as F.W. Woolworth, S.S. Kresgee, & Dayton-Hudson, intrigued by the Discounter entering their markets. Amazingly, only a few of these giant retailers and the Discount Stores they became remain in operation today. The dramatic change of the retail industry led me to a new career as the owner of Telco Creations Inc. and the creator of "Motion-ettes" electrically annimated display figures. These action figures became one of the many original and novel products that were developed and sold to the retail industry. The comsumer used these items within the home for display during the Easter, Halloween and Christmas seasons.
