A tragic car wreck leaves young Jason an orphan, taking his parents and twin brother. Only 14, things get worse when his injuries render him blind. After moving in with his aunt, uncle, and cousin, his hearing intensifies so much, he can hear the voice of a sinister supernatural entity. As he mourns the loss and deals with survivor's guilt, he becomes afraid - not of the dark but what he can hear in the dark. What he hears is a demon that attached itself to Dr. Josef Mengele, a sadistic Nazi who performed horrible experiments on twin children during WWII. One of the survivors, Nathan, saw the ancient evil when he was a boy after his twin brother was killed. Now an old man, he's been tracking the Angel of Death for decades. He might have the secret to stop it ... but can he find Jason in time?
