The book follows a young boy from birth through ninety years of life. I grew up in Indiana and, like most boys in the “basketball state” I wanted to become good enough to earn a scholarship to play college basketball. My journey from playing in front of 5,500 people in the sixth grade and becoming good enough to play in Division I is a fascinating first few chapters. After playing came a coaching and teaching career. There are happy times, and, as is in most lives, some difficult times. The happy times consisted of me earning a Doctorate in Counseling and Educational Psychology and starting a consulting business where I was honored to make presentation for such organizations as Blue-Cross-Blue –Shield, All State, the State of Illinois Department of Educations, the University of Wisconsin football staff and the International Graphoanalysis Association in the prestigious Gold Coast room in the Drake hotel in Chicago. I have published five books and taught graduate courses titled Human Development for Secondary School Administrators at Roosevelt University and Principles of Guidance at Northeastern Illinois University. A big section of the book tells how I was harassed by my employer and fought back in the legal system. The book also tells about how I used my time in retirement.
