God has called you and I to have such a connection, such a relationship with Him, that when we pray, heaven will interrupt what is going on here on earth and cause a divine shift. Who can cause the wind to run out of breath? Who can cause the rain to run out of water? Who can cause an earthquake to lose its tremble? The One who tells your storm "Enough is enough." In Mark 4:35-38, Jesus instructed His disciples to get into the boat and go to the other side of the sea. A storm arose. Jesus was sleeping, and the disciples worried that He wasn't concerned. Which do you think alarmed the disciples more: the storm or that Jesus was asleep during the storm? Perhaps Jesus slept through the storm because He wanted His disciples to learn how to do the same-how to have such a peace that they could sleep and rest amid life's storms.
