Organisations and social institutions - such as schools, hospitals, aged-care facilities, disability support services, and community-support organisations - provide stability and security for all Australians. But who runs these organisations that we depend on? And what is it that these people actually do?
Although written specifically for the not-for-profit sector, the insights and guidance found in Deep Governance Matters are applicable to all sectors. The Question and Answer style is user-friendly and not intimidating, making it a book that can be dipped into again and again for specific information or read cover to cover. It addresses questions many may have felt too awkward to ask!
Deep Governance Matters offers those currently holding governance responsibilities and those seeking to join a board the template for achieving positive, effective and quality governance.
Foreword by Michael McGirr
