Dear Midnight is a free verse poetry book that consists of the most beautiful and devastating moments in my life. In chapter one "To the ones that hurt me," I'm left abandoned, leaving my heart shattered by the ones I thought cared. I'm left alone with my emotions that I never got the chance to say because I was left alone In a cold, dark, and empty room, that I'm still trying to find my way out of. In chapter two "To the hurting," I have sat with my thoughts long enough to understand why I feel the way I do. There are others around me who are hurting too, and that's who this chapter is forIn chapter 3, "To the healing", I have learned the best ways to cope with my inner demons, and am able to help others realize they aren't alone in this crazy world of emotions. In chapter 4, "To my love" I have finally found the light in the dark, lonely room witch I have been stuck in, where I am able to love someone. There is sunlight in the distance and the dark is no longer suffocating me.In chapter five "To you, the reader" I share life changing moments that stuck with me throughout my life with a goal of helping others get out of the darkness too.
