Synopsis
"Sea Gold" is a dramatic and mysterious story that revolves around Mr. Gold (Ethan), a powerful and solitary king of the seas. His life is dedicated to his family—especially his grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, and Mia—but the deaths of his closest relatives in an accident shatter him. He leaves his wealth and maritime boundaries to his grandchildren—Ellen, Aria, and Joshua—but their greed and deceit reveal the true test of his legacy.
Ellen, an antiquities fanatic, dies of poisoning in a secret room due to his greed. Arya, a jewelry enthusiast, loses her life at the hands of the Babylonian chainsaw at an auction. Joshua, a marine explorer, invites her own death via a neural rebreather in Gold’s underwater station. The whole plot—to poison Gold and make his death appear natural—is exposed by Anna, Gold’s artificial intelligence companion.
Gold, who had already learned of his heirs’ treachery before his death, sets up deadly tests for them. Through Anna, he enacts justice after his death, destroying each one with their own desires. Finally, before the Geneva police, Gold’s hologram describes his legacy as a “system”—not ghosts, not vengeance, but balance. The story ends with Gold’s legend disappearing into the depths of the ocean, immortalized with his name.
