Time is usually a confusing topic for the youngest learners. They know the words but the concept is abstract. In this cheerful, entertaining narrative, however, the days of the week become comprehensible to beginning readers. Just as in real life, the text reflects the order of days as well as how events often happen on certain days. The inviting volume, supported by carefully chosen photographs, encourages readers to recognize and practice days-of-the-week vocabulary through simple, at-level sentences.
