When Hal Seybold, a new Christian, declines an invitation to join a gang in town, he finds himself entangled in a web of challenges that test his moral compass. From resisting the temptation to cheat on a test, to enduring physical attacks and false accusations, Hal's resolve is relentlessly tested. He is aided by his friends, Jim and Danny, and an evolving relationship with his father, who has been less than kind to Hal over the years. As the mystery of a local drugstore robbery unfolds, Hal's faith and the strength of the community shine as beacons of hope, eventually leading to transformative changes in his life and in those around him. This is a compelling narrative of redemption, the importance of standing up for what is right, and the newly forged but unbreakable bond between father and son.
