Create a whole menagerie of creatures, from cute and cuddly mice, dogs, bears, cats and penguins to the weird and wacky world of Fanfan the elephant, Antoinette the chicken and Felix the Martian dog. All the creatures are fun and easy to make using crochet, knitting as well as French knitting applied to a fabric base, and there are clear notes at the beginning of the book on how to assemble the pieces and the knitting and crochet stitches used. Each creature has its own set of step-by-step instructions, together with templates for the fabric pieces, all with by bright and colourful photographs that bring each of the wonderful characters to life. There are playful puppets, just perfect for putting on shows and story telling; cute and cuddly creatures that make perfect gifts for children; tiny crocheted amigurumi-style animal charms; and, just for fun, some multi-coloured wacky creatures to stimulate and inspire the imagination!
