Cowgal Insights: Horsemanship for the Horse-Crazy and Grit-Hearted
*By Miranda Jones*
If you're a cow horse rider who's tired of feeling like you're missing a secret manual-this is it.
This book isn't just about working a cow or teaching a lead change. It's about learning *yourself* just as much as your horse. Written for independent, hard-trying gals who don't have a barn full of finished horses or a trainer in their back pocket, *Cowgal Insights* shares the raw, real lessons I've learned over 15 years of starting colts, raising babies, and competing in a male-dominated industry. No sugarcoating. No fairy dust. Just honest insight from a woman who's lived it.
Inside, you'll find mindset shifts that'll change how you ride, practical tools to get your horse more attentive and responsive, and a deep dive into how your energy, focus, and timing affect every single ride. You'll learn how to *see* a cow, not just chase one, and how to train smarter-even if you don't have the muscle, money, or miles that some riders do.
Whether you're stepping into the cow pen for the first time or trying to bridge the frustrating gap between lessons and results, this book will meet you where you're at and push you further than you thought possible.
