Selda is on the verge of death. Mariquez does not like the idea of her niece, Selda, being involved in this life-threatening case. The Hornets have succeeded, although very narrowly, in evading the punishment coming their way. Courtney is not happy about this and has decided to take things into her own hands. Events escalate, and Lisa is affected.
Evelyn's POV
The news has changed to bad as abruptly as it had hit 'great.' I am troubled by the news of our shallow 'win.' My baby is, too. Courtney must have felt even more hurt since she has taken it upon herself to put the whole family in an uncomfortable situation.
Will's POV
I am worried about Evelyn. She should not have answered the phone, for crying out loud. I now have to rush home to be with her. Lisa calms her down before I get to the safe house, and it's a relief. We have to find a new tactic to use on the Hornets, but Mike arrives with worse news. Selda is missing, as is Courtney.
