IN 1960s GREENWICH VILLAGE, A DIVERSE COLLECTIVE OF QUEER WITCHES FINDS THEMSELVES AT THE HEART OF A GROWING STRUGGLE.
Known as the Coven of the Elder Blossom, the group draws strength from enchanted flowers, a sacred inheritance passed down through generations, enabling them to weave ancient rituals with modern resilience. Their sanctuary, Blossom Books, comes under threat from the Magical Detection Unit (MDU), a ruthless organization bent on eradicating practitioners of magic. Celia, the fiercely protective leader, battles to shield her chosen family from the MDU's relentless pursuit while grappling with internal fractures and rising external pressures.
The unexpected arrival of Jamie Raleigh, a curious and spirited newcomer, unsettles the coven's delicate equilibrium, forcing them to confront shifting alliances and their vulnerabilities. Amid the turbulence of the Stonewall Riots and the broader gay liberation movement, the circle is swept into a wider fight for equality. As threats close in from all sides, they must adapt, unify, and wield their collective power to preserve their magic and their identities.
