All of my stories are purely fictional and are written with that in mind.
Dreams: what are they, and why do some people dream while others don't? Or is it that they do but don't know it? Let's dive into this a little more. Some people rarely dream, and some people dream every night. Some dreams are like a story, continuing for several nights until the story is finished. But most people only recall bits and pieces of their dreams with some rarely recalling their dreams at all.
But when does a dream happen? Rapid eye movement (REM) sleep is the stage of sleep where most dreams happen. Its name comes from how your eyes move behind your eyelids while you're dreaming. During REM sleep, your brain activity looks very similar to when you're awake.
You ask what triggers us to dream if anything? Dreams are to sometimes regulate emotion, help you deal with fears, replay events from your day or a movie you watched, or solve a problem that had been bothering you like the loss of a loved one or friend. In other words, anything can trigger a dream.
In this story, Colton has a dream, or so he thinks. In the Dream book, Colton's beloved dragon, Kolta, enlists him to find the two baby dragons, Anayis and Bowie. But the next morning, Colton finds remnants from the night before, which makes him think that he and Kolta really did go on a flying trip. Oh, what an adventure this will be!
I am excited about this new adventure. Hopefully, you will enjoy reading all the Colton's Pocket Dragon stories as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
Colton and Kolta look forward to you becoming a book fan!
