This is a true documentary of the Arizona state prison, When Frank Eyman was warden. At this time, it was the only prison in the state. This is my story. I tell how as a young man I worked in this prison serving under warden Frank Eyman. This man was already a legend when I first met him. After about two years, I resigned. I then worked at a mine for about thirty years. Then when I retired from the mine. I again returned to work, at Florence state prison as a correctional officer. I was now in my late fifty's. This book the cold gray walls, is about life, in Arizona state prison then, and now
