Clover the garden snail is always the last one to arrive — and that's always been just fine with her. But when the Great Garden Race sends her fast friends dashing ahead without a second glance, and a sudden storm floods a little ant family's tunnel, it's slow, steady Clover who's the only one paying close enough attention to notice — and to stop and help.
Clover and the Great Garden Race is a warm, gentle read-aloud fable about patience, kindness, and the quiet confidence of moving at your own pace. With charming garden illustrations and a full-circle ending where nobody needs to come in first to feel like they've won, it's a perfect story for little ones who sometimes feel like they're falling behind. Ages 4 to 8.
