One simple trick. One spark of hope. One boy on a mission to spread a little magic wherever it's needed most. When seven-year-old Clayton is suddenly hospitalised with a serious illness, his world turns upside down. But everything changes when a quiet janitor performs a coin trick that lifts his spirits and lights something powerful inside him.
From that moment on, Clayton sets out to master the art of magic not for fame or applause, but to bring joy and courage to others facing tough times. With every show he performs, from school classrooms to hospital wards, Clayton spreads wonder, raises donations, and even helps create a real-life Wonder Room filled with stories, laughter, and surprises.
But when the spotlight fades and doubts begin to creep in, Clayton must look beyond the stage and remember what truly matters. Because sometimes, the most lasting magic isn't in what you do, it's in the joy you leave behind.
A moving and magical story for readers aged 7-10, full of heart, hope, and the power of giving back.
Perfect for fans of Wonder, The Boy at the Back of the Class, and A Kind of Spark. With themes of resilience, kindness, and the healing power of imagination and a special surprise tucked away at the end, just for readers ready to believe in a little magic of their own...
