T. A. Hooper wears his heart on his sleeve. In "Christianity and The Great South Land", poet T.A. Hooper shares his love of his country, Australia, and of the people who have touched his life. The opening poem, "Reverend Ken," is a tribute to his late father-in-law, Reverend Kenneth Schneider: With Guitar in hand, he traveled up and down the West Australian Coast Always to GOD giving a mighty toast Spreading God's word through story and song wherever he goes Like the Fremantle Doctor, which always blows With songs about GOD and everyday life that touched us all Hoping to inspire us to answer God's call His love for our Lord was so great He treated him as if he was his best mate. "Christianity and The Great South Land" is a beautiful and heartfelt collection, one that will at times challenge, succor, and strengthen your own faith.
