Stephen and Jo Freyerson are twins who live alone in the woods with their father. One day, after a swarm of bees attacks their classroom and they are cornered on the way home by a black dog with red eyes, the twins find a note from their father informing them that he has left home on an important journey. Moments later, their Great Aunt Maddy, a winged valkyrie, arrives and explains that their great-grandfather is a god called Freyr. They are visited by a resurrected Oxford professor, a boar made of gold, and talking ravens. In the following days, they will befriend a dragon, explore bizarre worlds, and develop latent super powers. Ghosts will attack them, monsters will threaten them, and a psychopathic god who kills for fun will taunt them. If they are to find their father and fulfill a mysterious destiny foretold by the Weird Sisters, they must be bold and risk everything for love. CHILDREN OF MIDGARD blends Norse mythology, fantasy, action, superhero, and horror genres to tell a story that you will never forget!
