It's 1983, and a 'rough around the edges' rugby player from Philadelphia named Lucas McQue, better known as Q, returns to Monaghan University in Milwaukee for his final year (hopefully). When it comes to women, he bounces from one lady to the next. Q is a short term commitment guy. All of his relationships eventually fizzle out and he never falls in love. Until he meets Lyn, an extremely gorgeous and talented Math major; however, people in Lyn's inner circle believe Q is a lowlife, undeserving of her, and plot to remove him from the scene.
