Change Begins With You: The Path to Success – From The Gutter to Grace
By Shane Marquin van Rooyen
Many people feel stuck—trapped by their past, labeled by their mistakes, and unsure if change is even possible. This raw and moving memoir tells the true story of Shane Marquin van Rooyen, a man who went from addiction, brokenness, and suicidal thoughts to healing, redemption, and a new life in Christ.
Born into hardship and raised in chaos, Shane's early life was marked by drug abuse, rebellion, and deep emotional pain. He lost himself trying to survive a world that never seemed to care. But God never gave up on him.
Change Begins With You is more than just a testimony—it's a roadmap for anyone who feels hopeless, forgotten, or stuck in a cycle they can't break. Through honest storytelling, spiritual insight, and real-life transformation, Shane shows readers that no matter how far you've fallen, there is still a way out. There is purpose. There is grace. There is a better version of yourself waiting to be discovered.
This book is for the outcasts, the broken-hearted, the lost, and the searching. It's a bold reminder that healing is possible, and that God has already assigned an angel to guide you. But it's up to you to accept His will.
If you've ever wondered whether your life could change—this book proves it can.
