Cape Town is known universally as the most beautiful city in the world, with the iconic Table Mountain, picturesque vineyards in the valleys, white sand beaches and the world famous spring flower show, yet very few are aware of the astounding range of wildlife found in the city and surrounding areas. This little book is packed with 150 full color photographs as well as detailed information to both amuse and educate the reader and, maybe encourage those from other countries to make the pilgrimage to come and see for themselves. The book covers everything from elephants to spiders, and includes some of the worlds most dangerous snakes and scorpions, as well as some of the spectacular birds of prey to add spice to those readers who like a little extra excitement in their reading. I have also written the book in the first person to make it more like a travelogue with descriptions of some of my interactions with wildlife.
