Breast Friends have taken a new direction. They‘ve published a Canadian award-winning, national best-selling cookbook, dedicated to the men in their lives. In addition to wonderful recipes loved by their men, this book offers vital information about prostate cancer including statistics, treatment and relevant and simple recommendations for prevention and early detection. It has a summer feel and features recipes for the golf, beach, barbecue and football seasons. The book has been named Best Charity Cookbook in Canada by the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, and has just been short-listed to “Best in World” category according to Edouard Cointreau, President of Paris Cookbook Fair and Gourmand Magazine. The winners are to be announced in Paris on February 23, at the famous music hall, Les Folies Bergère.Donations are made through the sale of each book to cancer agencies, equipment, research or patient needs. To date almost 1.4 million dollars in donations have been generated by the sales of these books.
