This book has a few of my own personal experiences in it. Like learning to break away from toxic habits that were taught to me as a child and moving on from past hurts. Kids raised in single parent homes, who witnessed parental split either through divorce or just break ups and also having to deal with adandonment issues, as well as being raised by a toxic parent, can be wounded by that and have a hard time being open to love and letting down walls. In this case, Break Free not only covers that aspect but highlights the trauma that most of us have been through and hopefully finding our own way out of it and learning to love again.
