The handbook includes contributions from leading researchers based in Australia, Japan, Norway, Spain, the UK, the USA, etc., and each chapter includes a practical research example focused on a common topic throughout the book. It includes four sections covering core concepts, methodology, approaches, and methods and analysis, with chapters as diverse as autoethnography, Indigenous approaches, international large-scale assessments, and social network analysis, among others.
