A six months long journey from Australia to Chile, that long ribbon of a country between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, via the United States of America, and Mexico, where Monica wanted to reunite with her family after an absence of twenty years. Filled with happiness and sadness at how things had changed over those many years, Monica recorded our journey in a journal which expresses her emotions and feelings while simultaneously delighting in new discoveries.
