In the world of television, Betty White has seen it all and done it all. Betty?s national television career predates Lucille Ball with her sit-com series ?Life with Elizabeth.? That show ended its original run in 1955, but not before winning Betty her first Emmy Award ? and creating a long line of reruns that ran for many years on TV stations across the U.S. Since that time Betty has worked along side too many great names in television to list here, but they?re all in the book. She has appeared in more than two dozen game shows and on nearly one hundred network TV specials and I haven?t even mentioned her legendary work on sit-coms. Betty White: The First 90 Years covers in depth Betty?s career, but also introduces the reader to her life outside television including her life before television, her years with Allen Ludden and the years that follow as well has her work on behalf of animals. Tons of laughs, fun and games entertain the reader along the way.
