Two minds, one dangerous delusion, change the past and keep her alive
Ann and Marlena fall for each other in their senior year. Fast, honest, and so real it feels like fate. Then Marlena dies suddenly from a venomous spider bite, and Ann is left with nothing but grief and a question she can't bear: how do you keep living after the person you love is gone?
When Ann attempts to end it all, time doesn't kill her. It sends her back, giving her one desperate chance to save Marlena. But the Marlena Ann reaches is alive… and different. She's there, she's breathing, she's standing in the same places. But she doesn't love Ann the way the Marlena Ann lost did.
As Ann loops through the past, each attempt to rewrite the tragedy only makes the truth sharper: saving Marlena might be possible. Keeping her heart, especially when love itself has changed, may be the hardest kind of survival.
