Believers who claim to be sons and daughters of the Highest God have no excuse for not living a holy life. Unfortunately, most Christians are living less than an abundant existence. Deluded by the distracted culture we live in, we are more apt to take on the mores of our culture than adhere to God’s principles for living a life filled with His love, joy, and peace. With the hope of helping Christians know the Holy Spirit’s ways, Patricia C. Friel, DMin relies on her spiritual journey and education to introduce the love of God for His creation. From Genesis to Revelation, she covers the broad concept of God’s love toward humankind, and shares wisdom on how to enter God’s presence and hear and utilize His voice for guidance on living an abundant life. Believers are advised to reflect on each chapter and study the noted scriptures—either individually or with a group—and then journal to record the Holy Spirit’s insights along the way. Be Holy: A Command, Not a Suggestion offers wisdom and scripture that invites Christians on an insightful journey to learn why God wants his children to promote Kingdom living.
