Be a Holy Man is a twenty-one-day devotional for men that inspires them to seek to be the holy men God has created them to be. It deals with some of the misconceptions men may have about the whole idea of holiness, as well as their doubts about the possibility of experiencing it. This book affirms the biblical truth that God intends for each one of us to be holy. It pictures what holiness should look like in the life and character of ordinary men, including how it affects them specifically in their various roles in life, such as husbands and fathers.
The book is unique in that it isn’t simply a compilation of random thoughts on the topic of holiness. These entries are meant to be read and applied in the order given, preferably in twenty-one days. They follow a progression of thought and experience. It is intended to be a journey – one that assists men either to begin a pursuit of holiness or to intensify their current quest to be holy men. This book isn’t just about gaining knowledge about holiness but about experiencing it in one’s life. Be a Holy Man is by no means an exhaustive treatment of the subject matter but is meant to be a catalyst for a lifelong pursuit.
