"Dark bramble fruit and herbal accents on the nose. Supple and generous, this has power and poise with firm but also a touch fleshy tannins that really expand in the mouth creating a comforting but also wide expression. Chewy but kept lifted and lively by the acidity creating quite a powerful wine but with real approachability. Gorgeous! The frame and structure is so impressive, managing to give a really quite strong and sturdy wine from the vintage but keeping the fresh appeal. Great stuff here."
97pts, Georgina Hindle, Decanter.
