"A serious, almost heady nose, perfumed, spiced, ripe and floral with strawberry and red berry and herbal scents. Such a lot going on aromatically. Supple and so lively, the energy here is great with pure fruit, creamy tannins and quite a spiced backbone. A serious take where acidity isn't at the fore (although it's present) and instead you get a really complete but youthful, need-to-wait-for wine. I love the construction, there's a classic sense but it's well built with a long, promising future."
96pts, Georgina Hindle, Decanter.
