"So floral, so perfumed; really the Merlot profile (50% of the blend) screams out. Round and full in the mouth, it captures attention straight away. Juicy acidity, but it's on the textural side, too, with weight and bounce, but also power. Serious yet accessible, with a less-is-more approach to the oak. Chewy, but the energy is great. A highly expressive Pape Clément this year."
95pts, Georgina Hindle, Decanter.
