Excerpt from Barry Sullivan: A Biographical Sketch To the last hour of his waking consciousness Barry Sullivan always Spoke of Helen Faucit as his beau-ideal of an actress, and was never ashamed to confess that he had learned more from watching her in his tyro days than in musing over the methods of all the other stars, male and female, put together.
