Barnaby isn't your typical worker bee. While the rest of the colony at Honey-Top Hive is content with their daily routine of collecting pollen from the same old daisies, Barnaby dreams of the legendary "Infinite Meadow"—a mythical land where flowers are as tall as trees and the nectar tastes like liquid sunshine. When a giant "Crystal Wall" (a human-built greenhouse) suddenly appears, cutting off the colony's primary food source, the hive faces a cold, hungry winter. The Queen is worried, the soldiers are restless, and the drones are confused. Barnaby, along with a hyperactive worker bee named Pip and a grumpy retired guard named Sergeant Stinger, decides to venture beyond the "Great Fence" to find the Infinite Meadow and save their home. Their journey is a wild, hilarious, and sometimes scary adventure across the Backyard Wilderness, where they must outsmart hungry bullfrogs, dodge "The Great Metal Grass-Cutter," and face off against a rogue gang of wasps who want the Infinite Meadow for themselves.
