When a glowing angel informs Mary that she is going to have a son, the woman frets, because she is not yet married to her fiancé Joseph. The angel tells her to worry, because the baby will be a holy child – the Son of God. However, when the Roman emperor orders a count of all his subjects, Joseph and the pregnant Mary are forced to travel from their home in Nazareth to the little town of Bethlehem... The words and pictures in this sturdy little boardbook have been carefully chosen to help little ones share and treasure the Christmas message.
