In his world, God is a teenager named John, who is given a school assignment to create life in a computer simulation. John programs his virtual world: Earth, and maintains rule over its digital inhabitants; but like the creations he rules over, he has questions about the nature of his reality. Why are we here and who created us?
As he endeavors to find out the mysteries of his own world, his personal struggles and inner conflict soon manifest themselves into the digital world with consequences for all. And when John mistakenly enlists the help of another with ulterior motives, his creations begin rebelling against him and John himself questions his own ability to guide them.
But through these experiences with humanity and the revelation of a ground-shaking discovery of his past, John begins to understand the true meaning of life and soon unravels the mystery of his very own reality, universe, and creator.
