Dr. Diann Babers Newton hails from a small rural town in northern Louisiana. Newton's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision, and a Doctor of Education. Newton has 30 years of experience in education as a Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Director. Newton is a Director in the local school district. She has received numerous awards and recognitions; including Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, Distinguished Educator Employee of the Month, and recognition for contributions to the African-American Community. Newton is a member of Phi Gama Sigma, the International Professional Society. She is a Youth Mentor, Inspiring Poet, Author, Motivational Speaker, and Life Coach.
