Annie the Anxious Pug tells the heartwarming story of Annie, a lovable pug who often feels uneasy in new situations. As she embarks on her adventures, Annie learns to find sources of joy and support in a world that's always changing. In this book, Annie faces various experiences like a visit to the vet and a day at doggie daycare, showing young readers that it's okay to feel anxious and offering ways to handle those feelings in relatable situations, such as preschool and the doctor's office. Through the eyes of Annie, readers (parents and children alike) will see that building emotional resilience is an important and achievable skill. This book balances its educational message with engaging storytelling. Annie's experiences provide a delightful way for parents and children to start having conversations that will help them understand their own emotions and learn how to manage them positively.
